Inteligência Artificial e Desenvolvimento Sustentável: Abordagens e Análises na Web of Science

Objetivo: Analisar como a Inteligência Artificial (IA) tem sido aplicada no contexto dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), com base em publicações científicas indexadas na base de dados Web of Science.
Método: A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, bibliográfica e exploratória, utilizando análise bibliométrica com busca realizada na Web of Science, a partir dos termos "artificial intelligence", "AI", "SDG" e "sustainable development goals". Foram considerados apenas documentos de acesso aberto.
Resultados: Foram identificadas 25 publicações relevantes entre 2020 e 2024. O ano de 2021 apresentou o maior número de estudos (8), e em julho de 2024 já havia 6 publicações registradas. Os artigos analisados mostram que a IA tem potencial significativo para apoiar a tomada de decisão, otimizar processos e oferecer soluções inovadoras nas áreas de saúde, meio ambiente, educação e infraestrutura, contribuindo diretamente para o alcance dos ODS.
Conclusão: A IA se apresenta como uma ferramenta estratégica para o desenvolvimento sustentável, com crescente presença em publicações científicas voltadas aos ODS. Apesar do potencial, é essencial promover o uso ético, inclusivo e regulado da IA, de modo a mitigar riscos sociais e ambientais.
