Inteligencia Artificial y Desarrollo Sostenible: Enfoques y Análisis en la Web Of Science

Objetivo: Analizar cómo se ha aplicado la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en el contexto de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), con base en publicaciones científicas indexadas en la base de datos Web of Science.
Método: La investigación es de carácter cualitativo, bibliográfico y exploratorio, basada en un análisis bibliométrico realizado en la Web of Science. Se utilizaron los términos "artificial intelligence", "AI", "SDG" y "sustainable development goals", considerando solo documentos de acceso abierto.
Resultados: Se identificaron 25 publicaciones relevantes entre 2020 y 2024. El año 2021 fue el más productivo, con ocho publicaciones, y en julio de 2024 ya se habían registrado seis. Los artículos analizados evidencian el papel clave de la IA en la toma de decisiones, optimización de procesos y generación de soluciones innovadoras en salud, medio ambiente, educación e infraestructura, contribuyendo directamente al logro de los ODS.
Conclusión: La IA se configura como una herramienta estratégica para el desarrollo sostenible y muestra una presencia creciente en la producción científica sobre los ODS. No obstante, es fundamental que su uso se base en principios éticos, inclusivos y regulados para evitar riesgos sociales y ambientales.
