Objective: This article aims to analyze the main challenges faced in managing industrial automation projects in an integrator company, with special focus on stakeholder management, remote communication, and the use of collaborative tools.
Method: The study followed a qualitative and exploratory approach, using semi-structured interviews with project team members and the project manager, participant observation, and analysis of internal company documents. Data triangulation was used to validate the findings.
Results: The study identified several challenges, including fragmented project vision, communication difficulties in remote work, lack of access to schedules by team members, and frequent changes in technical specifications. Implemented solutions—such as the use of the MS Project web version, Microsoft Teams, and standardized documentation—showed improvements in collaboration, organization, and team efficiency.
Conclusion: The research concludes that the use of collaborative tools, structured communication practices, and accessible documentation are critical success factors in managing automation projects in remote environments. Continuous investment in training
